Determining where your patio should be located with in the landscape

The first major step to creating your new patio is deciding the location of your patio. Every patio created will be different in its own way. When creating a patio you do not have a template to go by. A patio is meant to be custom created for each individual homeowner. The design of the patio should take into account many different aspects such as the clients needs, the house, and the layout of the land. The following is the basic creations for a patio. As you read each item apply this to constructing your own patio. Use your ideas and visions of the patio you want to create. Take walks outside and look at the areas in question, measure the areas and take pictures for your own use in creating your patio. The better understanding you have of what you want the easier it is to convey your ideas to the Landscape designer.

These simple questions below all need to be answered before you move on to the next processes of creating your new patio. Once you have answered these questions and have an idea of what you want you will be able to continue working towards a final plan. Answer the questions provides, get out in the landscape and look at the area, take pictures and sketch ideas you have. This is how a Landscape designer comes up with his plans so why cant you.
