Plants to be or not to be around your patio? |
The next question in designing your patio is weather or not you want to have plants around your patio. Plants can create a mood. The homeowner needs to decide what mood they are wanting to create with the patio; weather it be sterile mood or an inviting and soothing mood. Ask yourself do you want plants around your patio or not.
PLANTS
Having plants around your patio is one of the choices you have to make. This will create a soothing inviting mood.
NO PLANTS
If you choose not to have plants that is fine as well. This will create a sterile mood.
In either case you have to tailor your patio and the landscape around it, to your needs. Work closely with your designer to ensure your patio turns out to meet your needs. Express your thoughts and concerns throughout the entire project. The designer does not know what you want and expect unless you work with him and communicate clearly. He can design and install any plants you want and in any design you want, as long as it is feasible. Work closely together and the both of you will create a beautiful landscape with or without plants to accent your patio.
